MEET THE PEGASUS THEATRICAL STAFF
David Grossman
Founder, President |
Mr. Grossman has a long history of downtown Detroit Development. He has owned, renovated and managed over 300,000 square feet of downtown real estate in the past 20 years. In 1981, he supervised the original renovation of the Grand Circus Theater, (Michigan Opera House), managed the facility and promoted concerts, plays and musicals until 1985. Mr. Grossman is well known for his involvement (time, effort and financial) in many Civic and Charitable organizations. |

Mr. Grossman has developed a corporate philosophy of hiring the best people and always providing the best service, products and equipment to his customers. He is personally active in many charities (and Pegasus Provides services at no cost to charitable events throughout the year) and is the current President of the Fanclub Foundation for the Arts, a charity that promotes arts education in the metropolitan area. He was appointed by Gov Engler to the Michigan State Waterways Commission, appointed by Mayor Archer to the Citizens District Council and is a founding member of ESTA, the international organization of Theatrical Dealers, Suppliers and Contractors. Mr. Grossman was a member of the Host Committee and acted as the Production Consultant for the City of Detroit on its unsuccessful bid for the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He is on the board of directors for Justice for children, a children's advocacy group, and the Fresh Air Society the board overseeing tamarack camps.
Mr. Grossman also owns Washington D.C. based Political Productions, the most experienced and sought after political event contractor in the country. In that capacity, Mr. Grossman was Elizabeth Dole's Audio Visual advisor for Bob Dole's Presidential bid, advancing or consulting on all of Mrs. Dole's "walking speeches and advancing all of Mrs. Dole's events during the '96 Republican National Convention. For the 2000 election cycle, Mr. Grossman provided production services for over 170 events for the Bush/Cheney campaign. Additionally, he co-produced both the Midwest and Westcoast train tours, provided all of the production and design for the 2001 Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington D.C., assisted with the Bush - Blair summit at Camp David in 2001 and has become a favorite White House contractor, producing numerous policy speeches and President George W. Bush's historic post 9-11 airline speech in Chicago. He has also worked with British Prime Ministers Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair and Mexican President Vincente Fox. During the 2004 election cycle Political productions produced an incredible 386 events for both parties. |

Larry Grillo

Larry Grillo grew up in Detroit and attended Macomb Community College. He had a successful career in music, producing talent shows, managing bands and single acts. At age 32, Larry started his own food, beverage, concessions and deli business. Larry spent 7 years in the auto industry as a sound systems supplier to the Big 3.
Larry joined Pegasus in 1996 serving as VP of Customer Development and Sales. He works closely with the sales staff, service department and installation teams, servicing hundreds of accounts of churches, schools, theaters, hotels, casinos, nightclubs and event producers, with more added each month. Larry assists with lighting, sound, stage curtains and much more. |

Jason A. White has served as master electrician, rigger, stage manger and lighting director for numerous productions over his ten-year career. Jason joined Pegasus in July 1999. During his tenure with Pegasus, Jason has directed the production of many events including the 2001 Presidential Inaugural Parade, Microsoft.net Introduction, the G-8 Energy Minister's conference and numerous Presidential speeches including President Bush's historic airline speech in the wake of the September 11 tragedies.
During his career, Jason has distinguished himself as a light board operator, stage carpenter, lighting designer, stage manager, technical director and lighting programmer. Jason is a certified rigger, experienced sound technician and musician and has received certifications from Columbus McKinnon, Martin and Varilite. Prior to joining Pegasus, Jason handled lighting, electrical and pyrotechnics while touring with Feld Entertainment Touring Productions and various Disney Ice Shows held at major arenas throughout the world. In 2006 Jason earned a certification as an arena rigger from ESTA making him one of only about a hundred certified riggers in the country. |

Kevin Webb
General Manager |
Kevin joined Pegasus in 1986 as a carpenter building DJ Booths and stages, installing sound and lighting equipment. In 1993, he expanded his role to include inside sales and in 2000 was promoted to General Manager, over seeing inside sales and rental depts. Kevin works closely with most of our clients and vendors and he is an important member of the Pegasus Management Team. |

Dave Stasiak
Rentals Manager |
From 1981-1983, Dave was a Photographer's Assistant, (Hammerlund Studios in Troy, MI). At Combermere Stages, (Troy, MI) Dave was the Stage Manager and then moved on to Set Crafters (Livonia, MI) where he was a Commercial Set builder. At Victor Duncan Inc. Dave was a Rental Coordinator (1995-1996).
Dave joined Pegasus Theatrical in 1996 and as Rentals Manager, he has been involved with the planning of thousands of events from design to fabrication to lighting, sound, video, special effects, power distribution and more. Dave works closely with our equipment maintenance department to make sure our equipment is always in perfect working condition and he closely monitors the efforts of our crews to make sure every job goes as smoothly as possible. |
